We recommend the Low-Cost Program (see below). This program is Bulk-billed (no out-of-pocket expense; covered by Medicare).

It includes an assessment and treatment with:

  • Exercise Physiologist

  • Psychologist

If you’re looking for more flexible options for your patients, consider the Private Paying option. However, this option requires out-of-pocket expense. Depending on what’s needed, the patient has access to:

  • Physiotherapist

  • Occupational Therapist

  • Psychologist

What is included in the program

The Low-Cost Program includes one session of Initial Assessment and a Treatment program.

1 | The Initial Assessment with:

  • Exercise Physiologist

  • Psychologist

    (This assessment takes approximately 1.5 hours)

2 | The Treatment requiring both:

  • Group Exercise Physiology   

  • Psychology

    (The time period and number of sessions depend on your situation)

Cost

Bulk-billed (the below cost is covered under Medicare):

  • Assessment: $330   

  • Treatment: $130 per group  

What is needed

  • Referral for Exercise Physiology : EPC

  • Referral for Psychology: MHCP or STT

Pain NT is a community-based pain management program and is not part of the hospital pain clinic. Therefore, we are not able to give medication review.
